Girls Touch Football

 

Q.  Who can play girls touch football?

A.  There are two age groups, PeeWee Ages 12-14 (1996, 1997, 1998) and Bantam 15-17 (1993,1994, 1995)

 

Q.  Where can I register to play?

A.   Kinburn Community Centre on March 30th and April 6th between 6:30pm and 8pm both nights

 

Q.   How much does it cost?

A.   $125.00/season

 

Q.   Where will we play home games?

A.   West Carleton High School - Dunrobin Road 

 

Q.  How long is the season? 

A.   Season starts Mid May with the opening of the fields until end of June

 

Q.   How often do we play? 

A.   Approximately twice a week, eight regular season games

 

Q.  How often do we practice?

A.   Practice schedule to be determined once official game schedule is released.  The intent is to practice one to two times a week to complement game schedule - practice time 1 1/2 hour

 

Q.   Where will practices be held?

A.   Location to be determined - either Stonecrest Public School or Fitzroy Centennial School in Kinburn

 

Q.   What equipment is needed? 

A.   Rubber moulded cleats (soccer cleats are fine) shorts, Jerseys will be supplied by the West Carleton Wolverines

 

Q.   What touch football league are we affiliated with?

A.   National Capital Amateur Football Association

 

Q.   Who do we play?

A.   We will play against teams from Cumberland, Orleans, Canterbury, Nepean, Kanata, Bel Air
